ioHUB in the Environment
Environmental departments and consultancies face significant challenges when managing monitoring data. ioHUB overcomes these challenges by streamlining data management and delivery.
Focus on core business
Data management should not be the responsibility of end-users. This means environmental professionals should be able to focus on their core responsibilities, confident the data they are using have been managed appropriately.
Situations where environmental staff manage their own data typically lead to inconsistent and incomplete databases. The net result is a two-fold problem:
- The users have less time to derive knowledge from the database
- Decisions are made on data of questionable quality
ioHUB takes away data management headaches, allowing complete focus on the job at hand.
Regulatory and management reporting
A key requirement of any environmental data management system is streamlined reporting. There are two facets to this: immediate exceedance notification to allow timely response and tailored, efficient reporting to multiple stakeholders.
ioHUB provides a single streamlined interface for managers and professional staff to view and report the data they require. Nominated personnel can be alerted via SMS or email when exceedences occur (or a trend suggests they may occur). Authorised users can view locations of exceedences in ioHUB’s Google Map interface. Routine reports are generated according to user defined schedules.
ioHUB provides access to key data targeted to the user, be they management or technical staff.
