ioGAS 3.2 Licensing Steps

When you upgrade your existing ioGAS software to the latest version 3.2  you will find that the default installation path has now changed to the C:Program FilesioAnalyticsioGAS folder.

This change is to reflect that ioGAS is now developed under a new company ioAnalytics which has been formed by ioGlobal to focus purely on the development of exploratory data analysis software.

In order for ioGAS 3.2 to recognise your existing software licence you will need to do one of the following:

Stand-Alone Licence:

Copy and paste the gas.single.glc file from the old C:/Program Files/ioGlobal/ioGAS folder into the new C:/Program Files/ioAnalytics/ioGAS folder (default installation path).

Server Licence (Academic and Corporate)

Copy and paste the gas.licence.ini file from the old C:/Program Files/ioGlobal/ioGAS folder into the new C:/Program Files/ioAnalytics/ioGAS folder (default installation path). Alternatively, re-enter the server host name/IP address into the Help>Server Licence Configuration dialog in ioGAS 3.2.

Restart ioGAS for the licence changes to take effect. To check that the licence details have been updated successfully select Help>About.

If you have any problems please contact info@ioAnalytics.net.
